Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve my parents showed up with my little sister, Rori. We were so excited! This was our first Christmas that we have ever spent in our own home. Since we have been married we have always traveled to my parents house and to Park City for the holidays. It was so nice to not have to worry about traveling, especially with 5 little ones. Grandma, Grandpa, and Rori arrived in the afternoon. The quads were so excited. They all had to show off.  Mike went grocery shopping and then we had Christmas Eve dinner. Fish had to be included in honor of Mike's Italian heritage. He fried calamari in the turkey fryer and we had shrimp. We also tried a new pasta dish that was delicious. We forgot to do our tradition of opening a present on Christmas Eve but no one seemed to mind. We cleaned up and put out the stockings in  hopes that St Nick would stop by to fill them.

Grandma and the quaddies looking at the rain. It feels like it has been raining for weeks now. We have been having some major flooding but we personally haven't had any damage.

Annie and Grandpa Christmas morning, having a chat. Jakob got up first (about 5) and took all his puzzles in to Grandpa so that they could work on them together. Annie joined them a little while later.

Jaileigh ended up sleeping with Rori. What a combination., two bed hogs. I think Jaileigh won this competition.
