Kids That Don't Like TV

The babies are really not into TV and by that I mean they DON'T watch it! I have tried and tried but there is no interest until now. Just recently over the last few weeks they have shown a little bit of interest in programs with animals. One day I put in Baby Einsteins Neighborhood Animals   They loved it for about 10 minutes. I did capture the moments though.

Michael, Jakob, and Anthony- They all just woke up from their naps. Jaileigh was still sleeping so she missed out.

Michael was cheering. It must have been good!

Mama Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys

Should I be worried? I think I'm more worried about the color choice then I am the shoe choice.

Campground On The Bay

Sounds nice right? It was!

This weekend we went to San Diego. We are usually pretty good to travel once or twice a month, but we haven't been anywhere since New Years weekend. The kids were so excited to get out of the house! We stayed at the Campground on the Bay. It was the best campground we have every been to. We were about 25 feet from the ocean and beach. It had kids playgrounds, a skating park, basketball area, adult park, pools, restaurant, ice cream parlor and ducks wandering around.

Jaileigh got over her sand adversion (kind of) and Jakey only loves it more.

Besides the fun that we had at the campgound and the beach we also went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park. We were a little disappointed this time because we couldn't find the animals. I was a little disoriented this visit. We trade off going to the San Diego Zoo and the Wild Animal Park and I think that I thought we were at the Zoo. We did see Gorillas (real and statue ones), various birds, meerkats, but nothing big like LIONS and giraffes. I guess that means we will have to go again soon. Never the less, the kids had a blast!

The gorilla family- Anthony, Jaileigh, Jakob, Michael, and mommy

Anthony loved the mamma gorilla. He is investigating the lips.

Jaileigh found the eyes.
Jakob found the mouth

Jakob checking things out. I think they were communicating. He is my main climber so he is probably half gorilla.
Jaileigh decided to feed the gorillas the wood chips

Michael was afraid of the gorilla. It took him a long time to warm up to it. He is being shy right here. I was trying to coax him over.
He finally touched it.

Jaileighs Day

At naptime one day Jaileigh decided she wasn't going to sleep. Sometimes she sleeps in and then takes a later nap than the boys and this was one of those days. Today she decided she didn't want her clothes on so we took them off. I gave her a snack and let her entertain herself. When one baby is awake they play really well all alone so I can still get some things done. I ran out to get the mail and she climbed into the wagon, that I haven't put away from our walk yet, and proceeded to eat her snack. She sat there for about 15 minutes and just watched everything going on outside. It was too cute not to document.

Do You Think We Like Bath Time?

Are they trying to tell me something?

Babies, babies, babies.

We love the babies at our house. I went to the store the other day and decided to buy Jaileigh some "girl" toys. At our house we have an abundance of boy toys but nothing girly. I bought her a stroller and a new baby. I only bought one and that was a big mistake. I had to send Mike back to buy 3 more strollers for the boys. The one stroller and baby caused many fights, I couldn't believe it! The boys definitely love the stroller and babies more that Jaileigh.

Anthony talking the baby for a walk
Michael positioning the baby just right. He has to make sure she has her seat belt on.
Michael telling Anthony how to do it right
Oh, NO a kidnapped baby! Michael is understandably upset because his baby is missing. Where can it be?
There it is! Little Anthony took off with it and is hiding in the corner.
Anthony giving loves and Jake waiting with the stroller.
Jakey and his turn with the baby. He doesn't care about the baby as much as the other boys. I guess that's because he is the baby of our family.
Jaileigh and the baby. You can tell she is rather indifferent. She didn't even take the time to put the seat belt on.
This is what she thinks about the whole situation.

Mr Potato Head and Wagon

The babies love playing with Mr and Mrs Potato Head. I think they like trying on the accessories as much as they like putting the Potatoe Heads together.
Anthony in deep concentration and Jaileigh putting on the glasses.
Don't you love how the squish into the little corner.

Jaileigh decided it was easier to push.

Escape Artists

Somehow the babies escaped. I don't know if I didn't shut the door tight or if one of them figured out how to open the door. I guess I will be deadbolting the doors from now on. Rather than try and herd the babies back in the house, I brought their shoes and pants out and let them play.
