Sea Doo and Sand Hollow

Mike rented a sea doo for the family to play on for a couple of hours. It was a blast! I had more fun than the kids I think. We went to Sand Hollow reservoir and spent a fun afternoon there. Annie was the only one that got swimmers itch so I count us as being lucky. Of course we didn't get any pictures of us playing on it.

He was hungry and wanted to go.

After words we went and swam in Grandma Kolleens pool. I was hoping the chlorine would kill the bacteria from the swimmers itch.

Pretty sure that's his speedo.

Jake was so tired. He fell asleep on the ride back. When we got back to the car he just curled up and continued sleeping.

Good thing I brought the potty chair!

Playing Checkers

We went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel. While we were browsing the store,  Grandpa Pops took Anthony and Jake outside to teach them how to play checkers.

Go Flyers!

My brother is helping coach the Dixie Flyers and we were lucky enough to be able to attend his last game of the season. He brought each of the kids a Dixie Flyer shirt to wear.

Andy's babies Major and Legend got to hang out with us too.
Gama and Pops had all 7 grandkids together, so fun!

Baby Legend- that is what my kids call him.

During the game someone threw a cigarette out the car window and started a fire near the stadium. It caught an electrical pole and fire and blew the transformer. The lights went out. This was probably one of the scarier moments in my life, trying to find all my kids.  It was pitch black and people were panicking. Thank goodness my kids usually stay close to me. Once we were sure we had all 7 kids we went home. They were able to get the lights back on to finish the game. While the lights were out someone stole our princess ball :(

Going Home

I woke up Tuesday (6/21) morning sicker than a dog. I think that I ate something with onions in it the day before. I am allergic to onions so this is was no bueno. On top of that, Jaileigh woke up covered in hives. My mom got Jaileigh in to see her doctor. We were planning on going home today at nap time. Our friend Karen was meeting us in Vegas to help me drive back to California. The day was not starting off well. On top of all the sicknesses, I still hadn't packed. Anyway, I ran Jaileigh in to the doctor. She was having an allergic reaction to something. He told me to give her benadryl and to take her in to her pediatrician if she wasn't getting better in 2 days. I was feeling better so I decided to continue on with our journey home.

I packed with the help of Rori and my mom, threw everyone in their carseats and my mom drove us to Vegas. We went to my friends house and hung out all afternoon. She let the kids swim, entertained them, and fed us before sending us on our way. Thank you so much to the Kristen and Glenna! You saved our day. Thanks to my mom for getting us to Vegas and my dad for coming and picking her up. It takes a village to get us taken care of.

I did a poor job of taking pictures. I didn't get any of Kristen or Glenna or the swimming. I did get the otter pop pictures though.

We made it home Tuesday night by 10. Karen slept over and the next day her brother picked her up. Thank you so much Karen!

The City Pool

When I turned 15 I became a lifeguard at the local City Pool. I went on to be a Swim Instructor. I worked in pools for the next 13 years. When we moved to California I finally gave it up. While we were in St. George I talked my sister into going to the old City Pool with me. It was fun to see that it was just the same.
