The Pumpkin Patch

We had to cancel going to the big, cool pumpkin patch this year because all the kids were sick. Last minute we were able to go to this cute, little one in Temecula.

Jaileigh decided she wanted to go in to the petting zoo. So did Michael and Anthony. Once in Michael wanted out so we let him out. The other two enjoyed it.

We finally let the kids play the games. Cowboy Roy was so cute with the kids. Jake didn't even want Mike or I to help him. He walked out there all by himself.

Jaileigh played too. Everyone picked bubbles for their prize. Michael didn't want to play so Anthony played two games. When Michael saw that everyone had bubbles he started screaming that he wanted bubbles. He was screaming too! I was ignoring him because I wasn't sure what to do. We didn't have anymore tickets and the line was so long. All of a sudden he stopped screaming. I looked over and Jaileigh had given him her bubbles. She said, "He can have my bubbles." I was so impressed with her selfless act. She is so young to do something like that.

Disney Halloween

Our friend Kristen came into town on Thursday Oct 27. She wanted to go to Disneys Halloween Party so we decided we would go with her. We got to Disneyland around 5:30ish and left around 9. We trick or treated, went on a few rides, and looked at all the costumes. Our favorite ride, "It's A Small World", was closed for renovation for the holiday show so the kids were really sad. I wanted to take pictures early but Mike wanted to wait until later which meant we didn't get any pictures. I hurried a took one of each of the kids as we were leaving. The whole family dressed up like characters from Peter Pan. Mike was Smee, I was Wendy, and then the kids were as follows:

Annie's Dental Accident

On Saturday Kristen and I took the gang to get Michael's shots. The doctors office is on the 2nd floor. When we get there we walk up the stairs and then when we leave I let them ride the elevator. They love jumping in the elevator. They chant "Jump, Jump, Jump" while jumping the whole ride. When Annie gets on the elevator she likes to push the Help button so 1/2 the time I have to explain to the operator that my baby pushed the button. I was chasing her to the elevator and she was running, laughing the whole way, and she tripped. She hit her two front teeth on the elevator wall.

I was so upset. I think we called 3 or 4 dentists. I talked to a couple and Mike talked to a couple. I finally reached our dentist and she said just to watch her and to bring her in on Monday. Monday was Labor Day but she was open anyway. ALL the kids had to come for some reason. Thank goodness I had Kristen with me.

They x-rayed her and then looked at her teeth. She chipped both of her teeth and both of them are loose. Dr Ruth said they were ok right now. They would tighten up over time but to watch for signs of infection. She said they may turn gray, which was just a sign of the trauma, but not to worry about it.

This little girl is going to be the death of me! Forget the quads, they have nothing on her.

We got to the dentist and I had forgot her clothes. Mike brought them to me and I put them on just as the dentist came out.

Happy Labor Day!

 Kristen was still visiting us. We spent the morning at the dentist with Annie. That evening our friends came over and made pizza for us. Shortly after dinner, Kristen had to go home. We were sad to see her go but hope she will come visit again soon.

I was holding Baby Thomas and my Baby Annie decided to be jealous so he got passed on to Daddy Mike.

Annie sat by Olivia. Everytime Annie would get a spoon full of ice cream she would bump it into Olivia's arm, getting ice cream on her. Olivia was so sweet about it too, she just kind of whimpered. I don't think she will sit by Annie next time.

Now whenever Anthony sees a family picture without Karen in it he says, "Mommy, where's Karen?" That kids loves her so much!
