Cracker Barrel and Playing

Everytime we visit St. George we have to visit Cracker Barrel. Mike and I discovered Cracker Barrel when my brother lived in Arizona and we would go visit him. We were so excited to hear the were building one in St. George. The rule for cracker barrel is wake up and go, no make up or beautifying. Annie even went in her jammies.

This is a parent's nightmare- goodies at your child's eye level.

They all have to touch and they all want one or two.

Most of the gang, minus Karen who was taking the picture.

Each evening, afternoon and morning the kids played with Grandma and Grampa's toys. They had so much fun playing in the yard.

Jake pulling Annie in the wagon.

Karen was so patient. She walked up and down this hill 100's of times with the kids teaching them how to ride the bike. It was a little too big so none of their legs reached the pedals all the way.

Anthony and Karen

Anthony got really good at riding.

Grandma has Jaileigh inside the crazy coupe, Michael on top and the dog on its leash.

This little patch of dirt was a HIGE hit. I almost ran out of clean clothes. I finally just quit changing them.

Homemade Granola

Caroline came to visit one day. The kids clearly took advantage of her and made her hang out in their pirate ship. Jaileigh, Caroline, Jake and Michael

A few times she and ALL the kids were in the pirate ship with the step ladder and a dump truck.

Michael trying to "fix" the dump truck.

Karen came to visit too. She is on Thanksgiving break so had a few days off of work. She got to read stories for hours. These two girls are so loved at our house! My kids absolutely go crazy when they come over.
Anthony, Karen and Jaileigh

Every once in awhile I get a wild hair and make some homemade granola. From the looks of things I might have to make it a little more often.

Anthony is wearing Jaileigh's dress. The boys decided it's cool to wear dresses. I'm allowing it in the house for awhile but when we go out they have to wear their clothes. Silly boys! Despite all the various states of dress and undress in all of my pictures, I really do dress my children in nice, clean, matching clothes. Something happens during the day and they all end up looking like homeless kids.

Daddy loves it too!

More Disney

Karen met us at Disneyland and the kids were so excited. They were more excited for Karen then Disney, I think!

Michael's turn to climb the light.

and then on top of the cannon. I kept waiting for security to show up.

Jake LOVED the goats. He is usually terrified of animals but for some reason he connected here.

Washing hands after.

Washing hands again after potty time. Never a dull moment when you are with us! When we left this bathroom it was pretty wet!

Who locked the monkeys in?

Anthony and his churro he stole from Karen.

Jaileigh and her stolen churro too.

Jake

This ride was the Casey Jr train. The lady put us in the monkey cage because there were 8 of us. We were sitting there ready to go and this little girl climbed in with us and sat down next to Mike (Big Mike) on the little teeny tiny bench. It was hilarious. She must have wanted to be with all the kids. Her mom and dad let her sit with us and they sat in the car behind us.

Good night. More coming tomorrow.
