Answers to Your Questions

Here are a few questions that I have been asked and I am finally getting around to answering.

What is the support that you have in the swing with Michael?
The Snuzzler is the support that we use in our swing. You can buy it at Babies R Us and they are actually used for carseats. We love them!

Is the article accurate that the boys are identical?
Yes, the boys are identical. We implanted 2 embryos and 1 split 3 ways. The boys do not look identical yet and are growing into their "identicalness". The doctors told us this is normal for preemies.

What do you do when Mike has to go to work?
Mike is taking off work until December 28. I am lucky enough to have him home. He might not think he is lucky now. He actually made a comment that working was a lot easier.

Do you supplement your milk with anything?
I am still pumping and am not supplementing with anything. As you can see from the pictures the babies are getting enough fat and calories. For when they start out eating my pumping I have 2 deep freezers full of milk in the garage.

Do you have help?
Yes! We would not be surviving without our help. Our church sends people in constantly. We also have meals being brought in on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We also have NICU nurses that volunteer their time to come hang out with us. At night Mike and I work together. The babies are really good from midnight until 8:00 am. They wake up, eat, and go back to sleep. The days are harder because they like to be awake more. So, YES we have wonderful help.

That is very neat about the boys being identical. None of mine were. I'm so glad you have so much help. My Mom stayed with us and we did have alot of people bring food which was great! Kudos to you on the milk supply! I'm very impressed!
So glad to hear things are goign well!

The babies are looking so big and well!! We are so happy for you! I am glad that you are getting so much help and that you are adjusting at home with them. I am SO happy that you posted about RSV and the danger of it! It is so important. Do you have anyone from Early Intervention working with you guys and the babies yet? Just wondering cause it is always a good thing to have too.

Glad you have a little time to blog and take time for yourself. As for the volunteers, glad they are helping out.
