Our first real day in Chicago we went to a Cubs game. Mike thought it would be a good idea to take the "L" do to a lack of parking near Wrigley Stadium. Wow! What an experience that we won't be doing again.
From our hotel we walked to the L station.
Playing under the viaduct. Lots and lot of stinky pee all over. It was disgusting!
On the train. The kids were excited.

Coming into Wrigleyville
We were very, very, very early! We waited over 90 minutes for the gates to open.
We bought a magazine and a program from a street vendor.
We finally got in! It was in time to see the very end of the Cubs batting practice and all of the Reds batting practice.
Batting practice
Javier Baez and Schwarber
The Cubs have a little section on the field for little kids to watch batting practice and get signatures. The girls got to go down first.
The boys patiently waiting
Jaileigh got so many balls!
Anthony still waiting patiently
They finally all got in

The 3 boys, Anthony, Michael and Jake
The Reds warming up
The Reds players actually came over and signed. The Cubs players did NOT.
I have 4 signatures now!
The kids are in there patiently waiting.
Trying to get a picture before the crowds come.
Concert in the park outside and below the stands.
A really nice guy offerend to take a picture of us with my camera. He did a great job!
