Camping

Grandpa let us borrow his trailer so we could camp near Zion. We were going to bring ours up for spring break but it would have been a long and slow process getting it there. We were so grateful for Grandpa's offer! We stayed in a little town named Virgin about 10 miles outside of Zion. The kids loved it more than Zion I think.

Neighbor Games

Playing with the neighbor kids at Grandma and Grandpa's house. They were so nice to entertain our kids. This funny game is called Polish or Spanish Horseshoes, Beersbee, French Darts, or Frisbeener. Hilarious game! I had to google it.

Egg Dying and Dutch Ovens

Grandma hard boiled eggs for all the grandkids and had a fun party! The kids were so tired from playing all day and climbing Grandma and Grandpa's mountain. Grandpa made a yummy Dutch Oven dinner.

Play Time At The Museum

One of the great things about spring break is seeing family and friends! The last two years I've been able to meet up with two of my best friends, that actually married each other, Marci and Corey.

We met at this park last year and decided to meet here again this year. 

I was terrible about taking pictures! Once our friends got there my camera was put away. Marci and I picked up Apollo burger and brought it back to the park. We had a fun picnic and the kids played for hours! All the kids wanted to go to the Children's Museum. Marci and I took them while the boys, Mike and Corey, took care of the dogs.

I wish we were able to see each other more than once a year but I am grateful for that once a year!

Easter Egg Hunt

We headed back to Utah for Spring Break. The boys baseball game was Thursday evening and we headed out Friday morning early. We stopped at Kathy and Joe's in Vegas for breakfast and a visit. The kids had so much fun playing.

We pass this building every time we go to Utah. Someday I am going to find out the history on it. 

Saturday morning there was an Easter Egg Hunt at the RV campsite that we were supposed to be camping at. We ended up canceling our reservations and staying in my parents driveway. We enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt and hopefully got enough candy for the one night stay that we had to pay for. 

It was the most organized egg hunts I have even been to. It was separated into appropriate age groups. The one they do in our town has ridiculous age groups. The first time we went it was ages 4-10 or something ridiculous. Of course my kids got nothing. It was a sad day, you may remember that blog post I did on it. This hunt was perfect!
