Park And Rides

Annie and I have been going to the park while the kids are in school. It's so fun to have one-on-one with her. She is quite the character!

 

After school one day I took the kids on a little ride to our friends house. I took a picture while we were riding. I can't believe how well they do, even little Annie!

I've been trying to refinish this table while the kids were at school and I have a little helper.

 

 

Zebrahead keeps trying to come in to keep me company.  Annie thinks I'm boring and keeps disappearing outside. She helped me sand the table but since I won't let her paint she is off to better things.

 

If she wouldn't poop on the floor I would let her come clean up after meals. She would make a great vacumn!

Fairy Tales & Fantasy Ballet

BYU Ballet traveled down here to southern California to put on a show called "Fairy Tales and Fantasy Ballet". I bought tickets in December for 22 of us that are friends.  It has been the longest 2 month wait ever! Every weekend the girls asked if it was time for the Princess Ballet. FINALLY the day arrived! When they woke up they wanted to get dressed for the ballet. We had a church picnic from 12-3, I had a dentist appointment at 10, we went to a garage sale at 8 and bought books, and it was a very busy day!

Finally 3:30 came and our friends came over and we went to pick up our other friends. Michaela and her grandma Penny came with us and so did Dede and her granddaughter Kennedy. We went to Red Robin for an early dinner.

At intermission all of the little princesses and princes got to go on the stage and dance with the dancers. My girls were a little shy at first.

 

 

It was so much fun! I bought so many tickets for friends that our whole section was full of our friends. It was really fun and the girls had a blast!

 

Mike took the boys out 4-wheeling and then bowling. They had so much fun and told me that I needed to leave them with dad more. Before I left they were crying because they didn't want me to leave them, they wanted dad to go with the girls! I'm glad that they had such a good experience with their daddy!

Making Ice Cream

First of all I am mad at my photography skills! I took pictures of everyone but my kids! For Friday Kindergarten Science we made ice cream! I think that I am going to make my kids do it again and I will take pictures of them!

Happy President's Day!

Monday was a busy day! We made cookies, went on a dirt bike/4 wheeling ride, and had playdate with a friend from school. I have been so bad at taking pictures! I just thought back to everything we did this weekend and 90% of it I didn't take pictures of. I need to start remembering!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! Our school district didn't have school on Valentine's Day. It was so nice to have the kids home and to be able to have fun all day long.

 

We worked on Valentine's for our neighbors and daddy.

Jake was upset that I made a banner for Susie and didn't make one for our door. I told him I would make one if he helped.

I took the kids swimming that evening. Daddy was out working and didn't get home until 10! Good thing we did Valentine's in the morning!

Michael is my most cautious kid. He always has to have his puddle jumper on. Well, I forgot them. He was mad and wouldn't get out of the car. I left him and went to the pool.  A few minutes later he was fully recovered and came out.  I looked down in the pool and saw this kid swimming the front crawl, it wasn't Jake or Jaileigh or Anthony! It was Michael! I yelled at him and asked him what on earth did he think he was doing. He got the biggest grin on his face.  I should have ditched the puddle jumpers earlier!
