Blueberry Picking And More Fun!

On Friday instead of going to school I let the kids stay and hang out with Grandma and Grandpa and Rori. We went blueberry picking in the morning.

On Saturday morning the family left. We were so happy they came to visit but so sad to see them go!

I was especially thankful they came. They were such a big help with getting ready for Annie's big birthday party on Saturday. Rori stayed up until 2 in the morning Friday night helping me frost cookies, sew hobby horse ponies, and make a cake. Grandpa drove Mike to Escondido to pick up straw for the party. Grandma helped entertain my kids, fed us, cleaned and was just there being Grandma and my mom! Thank you and love you tons!!!!

Annie's 4th Birthday!

Happy 4th Birthday to my little baby girl! I can't believe that it has been 4 years already. Annie was the last one to wake up. The kids were so excited for her to get up and open her presents. They all sat around her and helped her open them.

The night before her birthday I stayed up until midnight trying to make this crazy cake! Mike stayed up and helped me. We got to this part and we both panicked and decided we should have just bought one from the store.

 

 

I started putting the flowers on it and it started looking a little better.

 

 

 

By the time it was covered in flowers we were both feeling much better!

Dede came over and gave Annie her present and had cake with us. She brought Dakota too,  she's hiding behind Dede.

 

 

 

Annie got new cowgirl boots from Dede. She LOVES them!

 

Her day just kept getting better!

Rori gave Annie new Anna and Elsa dress up dresses.

The kids were at school when Grandpa and Grandma and Rori came so we took Annie out for a birthday lunch to In-N-Out.

 

 

 

 

Then we picked up the kids from school early.

Annie wanted hamburgers and eggs for her birthday dinner. She got eggs for breakfast and hamburgers for dinner. She didn't even want to go to Texas Roadhouse (thank goodness!) like we traditionally do.

 

 

Happy Birthday Annie Grace! We love you so much and are so grateful we have your little self in our lives. Our lives would be so dim without your light!

Our friends left the evening before we did. Before they left they buried the kids hands and feet in the sand.
