2nd Grade Career Day

Annie's grade did a Career Day. They invited parents to come to school and share their careers with the students. Annie asked Mike to come and share about his job. He did PE teacher and Coach. He talked to the kids about what they needed to do to become a teacher, what it was like, the positives and the negatives. He did some fun activities. He let the kids play "greased watermelon" and hit with the rope bat into the baseball net. He was well loved by the kids! He had many repeat visitors.

The bomb squad was also a favorite.

Santa Rosa Field Trip

Anthony and Jakob got to go on their 3rd grade field trip. Jake at the front of the room.

Jaileigh's First Game

Jaileigh's first baseball game was Saturday right after the boys game. Their game was in Garden Grove so as soon as it was over, she and I ran to the car and headed back to Menifee. We made it back for pictures just in time.

She fell asleep on the way to her game. 

Good thing I had Annie to keep me company.

Even though she wasn't smiling she said she had lots and lots of fun! She loves it and is excited to play again.
