Happy Halloween!

We ate Halloween Dinner early, around 4. Eyeball subs

Then we had homemade monster eye brownies for dessert

The kids were so excited to trick or treat. They had been waiting so impatiently since school got out.

Thank goodness the neighbors finally came over so we could start.

Our neighbors candy bowl. hahahaha

Jaileigh was black widow, Michael was Marshmallow Puft, Jake and Anthony skeletons and Annie was the prize winning cowgirl.

We put temporary hair dye in Jaileigh's hair

We found some friends along the way.

We drove over to the Mapleton neighborhood after to get more candy and to visit Sister Bain.

Halloween was Live Literature Day at our school. I wasn't planning on participating because we had just finished with Red Ribbon week the previous week and I was tired! That morning all the kids went into panic mode trying to find costumes and books.

Jaileigh was Michael Jordan from "Dream Big"

Jakob was a football player from the book "Fly Boyz" He was mad at me and wouldn't take a picture.
