Tadpole Hunting

After Grandma, Grandpa and Rori left on Monday morning I took the kids back to the RV park to clean up the RV and to play. We found some really cool tadpoles. The kids collecting a bunch of them in an ice cream bucket and we ended up bringing them home. A science teacher in our ward so that I posted them on facebook and asked if she could use them for her class. I gave them to her so we need to go collect more for the kids.

The little black things are tadpoles. There were thousands!

hApPy EaStEr!

Grandma, Grandpa and Rori came to visit for Easter. They got here Saturday afternoon and left Monday morning. The whole time they were here I only took 7 pictures! I couldn't believe it.

Saturday we ate, played at Wilderness Lakes, swam, watched movies, Rori and I last minute shopped and then we all went to bed. The generator went out on our RV so Mike and Grandpa spent all afternoon fixing it while the rest of us played with the kids.

Sunday the kids found their easter baskets and then we rushed to get ready for our 8:30 church. The kids all had new church clothes and looked so cute. Sadly, I wasn't able to even get one picture. After church we ate, napped, couched out, visited, played some more.

Monday morning came too soon and we had to say good-bye to everyone. The kids and I were so sad to see Grandma, Grandpa and Rori leave.

This kid is such a stink! I looked over at him during sacrament meeting (church) and he had a pocket knife. He was just holding it and it wasn't opening it. It was really old and rusted and he couldn't have opened if he wanted to. I had Mike go tell him to put it away because I am sure someone would have objected to a 4 year old having a knife at church.

Saturday Morning

Saturday morning I took the kids for a long bike ride and then we rode the train. The train runs every Saturday and Sunday and it's $0.25 per person. I let the kids pay for themselves. They think they are so big.

Looking at a stink bug. When Jaileigh first saw it she said, "Mom look at this big ANT!" I told her it was a stink bug like a skunk. They were quite fascinated with it.

On the train.

I let the kids ride in the caboose with their friends dad. There wasn't any room for any more adults. The poor dad had 8 kids to watch during the train ride, 5 of them weren't even his. He was pretty nice!

The Campfire

Each night we made a campfire and made smores.  Our friends joined us a couple of nights. The kids loved this tradition. They talked about it all day long.

Spring Break At The Beach

I took the kids to the beach on Thursday. It was a little chilly. I was even cold. Jaileigh never took off her jacket or her pants, silly girl. She even waded into the water with her pants on. I was afraid it was going to be really crowded because of spring break but it wasn't. There were a few play groups there but nothing big.

We ran up and down the beach. The boys kept taking off and leaving the girls. We would catch up to them and then they would take off again.
