Camping Presidents Weekend

For the long Presidents Weekend we went camping at our local campground. It was so fun to be able to relax. This was our first time camping with the dog. It was good we were local because we ended up taking her home to run in the yard each day.

While we were there we had a lot of friends to play with.

Valentine Celebrations

Annie's class had a cute Valentine's Day party.

The big kids had a really cute Valentine's party too. I didn't take pictures of their class though. 

I didn't have to make any Valentine boxes, it was all done in the class. It was so nice!

Grandma left Friday morning. She left the kids all surprises. They were so excited but so sad she left!

Youtube Karate

Mike had to go out of town for work so Grandma came to stay with us. It was the excitement of the year! The kids were so excited, they told EVERYONE that their Grandma was visiting. The whole school knew and the whole neighborhood!

Michael really wants to take Karate but we just don't have time or extra resources to put him in anything. We compromised and I ordered him a how to book from Amazon and Grandma suggested watching youtube videos. All of the kids loved it!

Girl Time

With the boys in baseball, the girls have been having a lot of girl time together. The girls are in dance and cheer on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Vietnamese Lunar New Year

February 8th was the Vietnamese Lunar New Year. Our neighbor invited us over to spread New Years cheer.

I googled a few traditions. You are supposed to wear red and yellow, bring mandarin oranges, visit someones house, offer new years wishes and give money to children and elderly. I offered to bring over some of our farm fresh eggs but she said NO. Eggs mean fertility and she doesn't need that at her house. hahaha.

The kids are standing in front of their money tree. It has red envelopes on it that the kids got to pick one. Each envelope had money in it. The kids were so excited! They loved all the Vietnamese candy too!

100 Days!

The 100th day of school was on February 4th. Annie's class and the quads class both celebrated with various fun activities.I tried to get pictures of all my kids but I failed. Argh!

The 1st grade teachers all dressed up like 100 year old ladies. It was so cute!

Blue & Gold Dinner

The boys had their Blue and Gold Dinner on February 3rd. Each father and son had to bring a homemade and decorated cake. Mike took the boys and they are now so excited about scouts. They can't wait until they turn 8!
