Viva Las Vegas

On Thursday we headed out of town. We went to Vegas and stayed with Grandpa/Uncle Joe and Kathy. The kids always call Joe "Gampa" even though he is really their uncle. I think he really likes it but he pretends that he doesn't.

Thursday we ate at the buffet again and then went to a park by Joe's house. Our friend Kristen met us there. I didn't get any pictures though.

"Mommy we found a chicken" I was scared to death it was a dead bird and sent Mike running down to check on them. It was a dead baseball. The had the best time throwing the "chicken" around. They thought it was hilarious.

After Jake fell in the mud and removed his clothes, they ended the park session by chasing the birds. You would think after all the running they did that they would sleep for days.

On Monday the weather was so nice that I let the kids play in the water outside.

Michael joined the other two boys and they all decided to take off their wet clothes.

Jaileigh joined in the fun too but she didn't like getting wet.

Annie didn't like getting wet either but liked playing with the shovels.

Dyeing Easter Eggs

 What was I thinking? What a crazy idea that I had LAST year! I bought the dye last year and never used it. I saved it and brought it out this year. I think we will wait another 5 or 10 years before doing that again. Actually it wasn't that bad. Jaileigh spilled her pink dye but that was the only casualty we had. The kids seemed to enjoy it too. We did this the day we went to Disneyland so the kids were a little tired and not too rambunctious.

It looks like Jaileigh tried to drink her dye but its just marker. They were coloring before we dyed eggs.

After all that work a nice crisp apple on the couch.

Annie wanted to be part of the fun too.

So we put her in her chair and gave her an apple to chew on. She thought that was really funny, I guess.

Happiest Place On Earth

Saturday before Easter we went to Disneyland. Karen came with us and boy, did we have fun! We saw Goofy, Donald Duck, Mickey, Gepetto and Pinnochio. This was our best trip so far. The quads walked A LOT. They are getting better at walking and staying together. The weather was perfect, high 60's and the crowds were minimal.

We watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse sometimes so they were really excited to see all the characters.

Donald was really nice and cute with the kids. We weren't rushed. He said hi to all of them gave them high 5's fist bumps, pats on the heads.  Even Annie loved him.

I'm sure the people waiting in line behind us were wishing we would hurry up. It's hard to hurry 5 excited kids though.

We rode the train around Disneyland for the first time. Michael said the dinosaur part was "Scary". He loves dinosaurs too.

I think this was the only picture I got of Karen. She always had at least two kiddos attached to her at all times. The whole train ride she had two sitting on her lap. Thanks for hanging out with us!
