Last Week Of Preschool

I taught preschool the last full week. Ms Leah taught the last day (Monday)and did their little graduation.

We did butterflies and caterpillars on Monday and then Insects and Bugs and Wednesday. It was so much fun. I set up little stations on the floor so they could rotate. I was pretty lax about the rotation and let them move as they wanted. It worked out really well and everyone was happy.

We went to the lodge several times a day to play and to buy popsicles. It had a kids center in it that they loved.

I would give them money each day to buy their popsicle. They would go pick out which one they wanted and then they would go pay for it all alone. It was so cute. Every one of them did it alone.

These were randomly growing.

 

 

The kids got filthy! I showered them 3 times a day. They would play in this sand/dirt and just get covered in it. I am still trying to get it out of their clothes!

It was such a fun trip. Annie had so much fun celebrating her birthday.

Sweet Zackary Gordon returned to his Heavenly Father early this morning in the arms of his mommy and daddy. Thank you for your prayers and faith. Please keep his family in your prayers. 


Our friends 2 year old drowned in their family swimming pool on Saturday. He is currently in the PICU fighting for his life. If you will, please keep he and his family in your prayers. I have attached the link to the facebook support group at the bottom, as well as here. Please feel free to join it to keep updated on his progress. Also, they would love to see you put the yellow balloons as your profile picture, as yellow is Zack's favorite color. Thank you so much!

Smores Over The Stovetop

Each evening we made smores. I roasted the marshmallows over the stovetop because fires were not allowed, the fire warning was too high. The kids thought it was pretty funny. I was putting my college learned skills to use.

The Cool Pool

We found the pool at the campground and the kids were so excited to try it out until they found out how cold it was. I lasted about 3 minutes in the pool and got out. It was probably 80 degrees, so not too cold, but too cold for us thin blooded people.
