Girls Beach Day

I took the girls to the beach one Wednesday. The boys had baseball so had to stay home. It was a fun girl outing. We got two wagon loads of rocks to put around the pool and took lots of pictures and had loads of fun.

He is the Oceanside Trenchcoat Guy and he has his own Youtube channel

He walked into the ocean in his wool sweater, shoes and his trench coat. I was watching him and worried that I was going to have to go in after him.  Because it was the middle of the week there weren't lifeguards and the beach was pretty empty. Luckily there was a local guy near me and he noticed that I was starting to get ready to go after him. He hollered at me that the trench coat guy was fine and that his name was Bruce. He explained that he was a local and that this was normal for him to walk into the ocean with his clothes on. Bruce came and talk to us as we were leaving. He told us he had his own Youtube channel and told us to look it up when we got home. Of course I did. He was a very interesting fellow.

Jaileigh took these next few pictures for her reflections entry. The theme is "Within Reach" I am in charge of the reflections program for our school so I have been trying to encourage my kids to enter. 

Annie tried her hand at photography next.

Annie helped me pull the wagon up the hill. It was quite the process to get it up the hill with all the rocks. 

We made it home in time for bed.
