Swimsuit Shopping

The 5 kiddos insisted on going with Aunty Rori in the dressing room to try on a new swimsuit. Poor Rori! I can't even imagine what was said in there!

Girls Shopping Day

The girls and I went shopping. I needed to return some things and they wanted to tag along. They requested an ice cream cone from Dairy Queen.

Hide and Seek

Lake Skinner Splash Pad

We went to the Lake Skinner Splash Pad on Monday. It was stinken hot out there- 116*! I didn't realize it was that hot until we were leaving because the water keeps you so cool. A local MoP group invited us to this activity and they told us to be there at 11:00. I got there and the ranger informed me the Splash Pad didn't turn on until noon. It worked out because I had packed lunches so we had our picnic first and then played in the water.

These two were so cute! They ran around the majority of the time playing with each other and holding hands. Jake was such a good big brother. He made sure he knew where Annie was at all times and that she stayed with him.

This park was fun. It is a located within a state park so I had to pay $6 to get in but I was ok with that. It was a little crowded and I'm hoping that once school starts it won't be as crowded.

Summer Days

It has been so hot in our neck of the woods. We are staying in the house or in the water. In the evenings we get the ocean breeze that comes in and cools us off so that's when we go out and ride our bikes or cars.

On Saturday we went over to our neighbor's to swim in their little pool. T.J. was washing his chairs and that was more interesting then swimming.

Hawaiian Surfer Kids

I took my little surfer dudes to the Diamond Valley Aquatic Center. This was the only picture I managed to get because it was so wild there!

The facility doesn't allow flotation devices of any kind and there are millions of kids running around. It was a bit chaotic and mind frazzling for me but my kids absolutely LOVED it! They ask everyday when they get to go back.

Jake actually started swimming all on his own, breaststroke arms and flutter kicks. I was so proud and he was so excited!

The Mailman Delivers

The mailman finally delivered the long awaited box from Aunty Rori.

Rori made this fabulous wedding dress for Jaileigh. Jaileigh loves weddings and can't wait to get married someday, so she tells me.  This was before I knew how to put the dress on correctly. Anthony really wanted to be Jaileigh's prince. Michael just wanted in the picture.
