Some Hawaii Pictures

Mike won a trip to Kauai, Hawaii for being the top 10% in sales. He was the #1 seller for one of his drugs, Eucrisa. We flew straight from San Diego into Kauai. It was a 6 hour flight with a 3 hour time change, they are 3 hours behind. When we got there it was 10 am and we had most of Saturday left.

Lunch by the pool. Mike had to eat the raw fish. Too raw for me.

These bracelets could be scanned with our excursions. They were our ticket in and out of the resort and certain activities. They were also removable. Hooray!

This is the saltwater lagoon at the resort. It was so beautiful!

This was the beach at our hotel

The beach was lined with lava rock in places

This was shipwreck beach, right on our resort. I guess it's famous on our island because of the great waves and the surfers that hang out there.

Our hotel- all of the following are picture of our hotel resort

Some kind of sea creature

I like this tree

There was a pig smoking back here on the resort. It looked like there was a homeless family watching over it.

We had a hospitality area that always had food and drinks, people answering questions, scheduling activites, taking pictures etc.

This was one of the desserts that were there. It was delicious!

In the center of the resort there were birds!

This was the center. There was always performances going on, on that stage and a gorgeous view of the ocean.

Our leis we received at the airport

First day at the resort, enjoying the pool

and the hammock

Going on an excursion

We were nerdy and had matching shoes. The funny thing is we didn't even buy them together. We both went shopping separately.

We went on a mountain tubing adventure. We tubed through the old sugarcane tunnels that the workers used to water the fields. A lot of them were underground and in tunnels. It was very interesting and probably my favorite of our excursions.

One of our activities was a catamaran cruise around the Napoli Coast with a BBQ and snorkeling

We saw so many dolphins! Our captain said they were actually sleeping as they swam

Another activity we could have gone on. Glad we didn't do this one! It was so cold and the water was so choppy. I would have froze.

We had a luau night.

Pinewood Derby

Grandma and Grandpa Pops came to babysit and hold the fort down while Mike and I went to Hawaii. While we were gone the boys had their Pinewood Derby which worked out for the best because they were lucky enough to have Pops do the derby with them! For months he worked on their cars. They both waited patiently to get together to finish the final products.

Anthony, Jake and Jaileigh

He brought an extra one for Jaileigh too. She was sooooo excited!

Dirty hands and faces!

Phone Pictures

They love fresh popped popcorn and a movie! That is a special treat for us.

Anthony feeding the snake. Gross!

Jaileigh made playdoh cookies and wanted to share

If Jake had glasses

If Anthony did

Jake had this huge welt on his side

We had to Benadryl him

We got another possum

Dad getting the boys ready for the pinewood derby.

We sent them to grandpa Pops and he cut them out and shaped them. Pops also sent some really cool stickers to put on them. Then the boys and Mike painted them.
