Cubs VS Dodgers

We took the kids to a playoff game on October 18. Despite being in LA there were quite a few Cubs supporters.

The bullpen warming up.

It was so empty for the game. It didn't fill up until the 5th inning, then everyone started leaving during the 7th. Definitely not die hard fans, especially with the price of tickets.

The flag was beautiful! There wasn't one player or fan not standing for the National Anthem either! I love baseball even more!

I like this picture of Jaileigh peaking in.

Of course the kids had to turn the LA Dodger towel into a CHICAGO CUBS towel!

The Cubs ended up losing badly. Michael cried at the game, Jaileigh cried, Anthony was mad, everyone was mad. It was a sad game!

Cards

The kids are into baseball and pokeman cards, baseball more than pokes. Anthony has a few basketball cards that his cousin, Bobby gave him. They have had so much fun looking at them, organizing them, putting them in order of favorite player to least favorite player, trading with each other. It's been entertaining to watch.

Cub Scouts

We recently had Pack Meeting for the boys Cub Scouts. They received 4 merit badges and their Bobcat advancement.

The activity was Fear Factor.

This one was do you have a raw egg or a boiled egg? They had to each take an egg and then crack it on their head. All the eggs were boiled. It didn't stop Jaileigh from rubbing the egg in her hair though. So gross!

Eating frog eggs (tapioca pudding)

The boys really thought it was frog eyes though.

Digging for worms through pudding. Luckily the worms were gummy and not real.

Getting their Cyber badge with their friend Beckham.

They picked a funny cheer to do.

Pinning my pins on.

Part of the pinning for the Bobcat is upside down pinning. When they do a good deed they can turn their pin right side up.

"Which one first?"

I was also wondering if Mike could lift hefty Jake. He's had some medical problems lately and been in a lot of pain. He rolled his eyes at me and said of course he could lift him.
