Last Sunday Michael asked me to draw a "bar" on his face.  He wanted a handlebar mustache. Then he wanted a little goatee.

She kept this on for a couple of hours.  I laughed everytime I looked at her. Jake was very upset with it though. He kept telling her to go wash her face. He was really worried it wasn't going to come off.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! As with our family tradition, we cut our pumpkins on Halloween evening. I don't know why we wait to do it, I think I just forget.

We were camping for the Halloween week. We headed over after our friends left around 10:30! I don't think the kids have ever stayed up that late! By the time we got to the RV they fell on their beds and were asleep! It was a fun Halloween, the best yet!

Red Ribbon Week

Halloween week at the kids school was Red Ribbon Week. On the last day the kids were asked to dress up as a sport hero or as something that they did that made them feel awesome. The boys wore their dirt bike jerseys and Jaileigh wore her ballet clothes.

After school there was an assembly put on by Gale Webb Extreme Sports and Air Sports. It was awesome! The kids loved it. We snuck in after school to watch and got front row seats.

The kids were so excited and were all going to start doing tricks like these. It was a great ending to Red Ribbon Week!
