Independence Day Celebration 2014

Our city celebrates Independence Day the weekend before the real day. This year it just happened to be June 28. There was a big party in the park with booths and vendors, jumpy things, food, a parade and of course fire works at dark. We got there around 4:30 so we could watch the parade and didn't leave until close to 10.

We left Grandma and Grandpa's house early Saturday morning. Daddy missed us and was excited for us to come home.

This was so beautiful. Coming in to the Cajon pass the fog was in the bottom of it.

Wouldn't you know that when we come to Utah to visit, my brother heads to California.

While he was gone my mom and dad took care of their chickens and rabbit.  We took the kids over one night to see them.  They were so sad that their cousins weren't there!
