First Sushi

I took the kids to a sushi restaurant the day we moved. They weren't impressed with the food. I even got them orange chicken and broccoli chicken. They just liked the big fish tank there. They still talk about it and want to go back.

 

 

One day while the kids were at preschool Annie and I went over to our old house to clean. She really wanted to visit our old neghbor, Dede. Dede wasn't there but Annie insisted she was and sat on the porch to wait for her. I had a hard time getting her to leave.

Mattress Surfing

I was storing these crib mattresses under the boys beds. When we took the beds apart the kids found them and have had so much fun on them.

First the play was innocent and fun.

 

Then someone decided to try surfing.

 

 

It was a fight to see who got to ride down.

Miraculously, no one was hurt.

 

This entertained them for quite awhile! I think I was even able to get a bathroom cleaned.

My 5th Climber

All of my kids are climbers, even Annie. She climbed up here and got stuck and did not think it was very funny. (Don't mind my strange pantry selections, we were in the middle of moving.)

My 5 Littles At Naptime

I was trying to clean our new house before we moved in and the easiest way to get cleaning done was when the kids were sleeping! The nap didn't last long, probably because it was a little uncomfortable.

The kids love cooling off in the pool. Several times a day the kids jump in the pool to cool off.

Sheep Watching

The last couple of months there has been a herd of sheep grazing in the fields near us. I decided to take the kids over to see them. First we drove by and looked at them in the car but they all wanted to get out so we found a place to park and I let them get out. I should have made them wear tennis shoes because they all had flip flops on.

Anthony was very brave and went to go pet a sheep all alone.

The sheep wouldn't let the kids pet them. They were crying when we left and wanted to go to the petting zoo. I ended up taking them to the Dairy so they could pet the sheep and goats there.

We Are Moving, Once Again!

Yep, we can't seem to stay in one place. When we moved into this last house I was hoping it would be for a long time but it didn't happen that way. It has almost been 2 years (in November) and that is the longest Mike and I have ever stayed in one place our whole marriage. This time I am praying we are stuck for the long haul. We have purchased a home and hopefully this time we will be in it for a long while.

Annie's Earrings

Annie decided she wanted her ears pierced. I waited until she wanted them consistently before I took her in. I had to go to the mall to get Jaileigh a new pair of earrings, she lost 2 pairs in 1 day, and Annie really wanted hers pierced so she could be like Jaileigh. So both girls got brand new heart earrings with pink diamonds in them.

When I got Jaileigh's ears pierced they had two people that did the piercing at once. She didn't cry at all. Annie is much tougher than Jaileigh so I thought she would be fine. She hasn't ever cried when she gets her immunizations. Well, she cried. It was so sad. This place only did one ear at a time and it was hard! She was fine within 60 seconds but it was still sad. She is now very proud of her earrings like Jaileigh's.

I had all the kids with me. We went to the gas station, the bank, Target, Kohls, the Farmer's Market, and the mall with Anthony wearing his pirate's scarf on his head.  He sure loves pirates and Peter Pan!

Swimming At The Aquatic Center

We went swimming at the aquatic center again. My kids have so much fun here. We had to leave early because Annie ended up with a fever. She had one off and on for 36 hours. It was the strangest thing. She didn't have any other symptoms of being sick and the other kids weren't sick and didn't get sick from her.

I took Jake to Lowes with me and let him ride in the driving cart all alone. I was one of those mothers that I curse everytime I go with my 5 and see a mother with her one hogging the big carts. He sure had fun though.

Our Vegas Buddies

Our Vegas friends came to California for a visit. It has been such a long time since we saw them last. I looked it up in my blog book and we haven't seen them since early 2010. We are facebook and blog friends so we have been able to keep in touch.

Our Lock

One morning as I was cleaning up breakfast I had heard Jaileigh yelling for me to come help her. This is what I found-

She was stuck on the window ledge. She was trying to open the butterfly lock that is really high on the door. A few days later she actually got it open. She pulled the high chair in and climbed on the back of it so that she could reach it. Annie came and got me and told me Jaileigh was outside. Thank goodness for tattlers! I was worried that she was going to do it again but she hasn't.

Lost Utah Pictures
