Last Night In Utah

We went over to Andy and Tia's house. We swang, picked mulberries, helped mow the lawn, ate pizza and then went to the splash park with the cousins.

Aunt Tia pushing the girls while everyone waits patiently for their turn.

I have never eaten mulberries and was very surprised at how sweet they are. YUMMY!

Tia had to go to work so the rest of us headed to the splash park.

The kids loved this little statue.

More Gardening & Water Play

We had to go to Lowes again. We needed some dirt and a few more flowers for Grandma's yard. This time we took Rori with us.

Watering the plants with water bottles was the game today. Anthony is filling his water bottle with the hose and Michael is dumping his on the flowers.

I love their faces.

Michael was not a happy camper until he got some dry undies on.

Zion, Petting Farm, Swimming

Monday we went to Zion National Park. I packed a picnic and we ate as soon as we got there. We were all starving. We had to eat amongst the tent caterpillars that I mentioned in the previous post. Yuck!

Looking for caterpillars.

I am the boss!

After eating we went for a little hike. We found an amphitheater and the sprinklers were on. Of course the kids had to play in them.

When they went off they were so crushed.

Jake was trying to "fix" them so they would go back on.

We left and stopped at the Virgin Trading Post a few miles outside of  Zion. They had very good ice cream and a little petting farm.

You could buy 3 big carrots for $1. I got 3 and broke them up so everyone got one or two pieces.

One of the miniature horses was a bully. The kids are saying "no, no, no, no" to it. Every time we would try to feed one of the other horses, he would bite it.

They had 2 deer.

I thought these were Alpaca's but they could be llamas. Nothing was labeled so I am just guessing.

The kids napped while I drove home and immediately wanted to go swimming. I gave in and took them to the pool.

Whew! What a day!

Annie And Her Pets

These pictures deserve an entry of their own. I took the kids to Zion on Monday. Annie ran over to me to show me her new pets. Look closely at what she is holding in both hands.

So proud of herself!

Tent caterpillars is what they are. They are not dangerous and they don't bite. I wasn't sure so I wouldn't let the kids play with them after I made Annie put them down. They were EVERYWHERE! It was a little gross!
