Camping At WilderNess Lakes

The kids didn't have school on Friday because of staff development so we went on a quick camping trip with some friends. I did a terrible job of taking pictures. Didn't get too many but some of them are cute. The kids all had so much fun and are going on a 3 hour nap right now.

We camped with friends Sarah, Bobby, Blake and Shane. Thursday night we had our friends, Logan, Sarah and Jeff come visit.  Friday we had Karen, Kevin, Katie and Matthew come and later Shannon, Madison and Kadence came over. It was a lot of kids and a lot of excitement!

The next day was full of games, swimming, scavenger hunts, relays and belly laughs. The boys even squoze in a baseball practice.
Jaileigh was stuck and of course I had to take a picture.

1st Grade Apple Fair

The 1st grade puts on an apple fair each year. I'm not sure why but I did see another mom from another district post that it was Johnny Appleseed's birthday and they were having an apple fair too.

Our friend Kevin got arm twisted into taking pictures at the fair. He captured these cute ones of my four under the apple tree.

They had about 13 different apple activities for the kids to try. It was really fun for the kids. It was only an hour so there wasn't a lot of time. The kids really had to hurry to be able to finish them all.

They had a blast! Annie was bummed she didn't get to go but I told her she got to go to her own next year all by herself.

It's Too Hot For Baseball

At our baseball game last Saturday it was 108 plus high humidity. It was too hot for baseball in my opinion. I only took these pictures of warm ups before my brain fried. Nothing even exciting. The boys are still loving baseball. The girls love it because they get to play with their friends. Mom loves it because everyone is busy and happy. Dad has to love it because he is doing what he loves, coaching.
