At Annie's school it's been Safety Week. They had a police officer visit one day and a fireman/paramedic another day.
I volunteer in there on Thursdays so I actually get to see the presentations. Both volunteers were dads of two of the girls.
The boys LOVE basketball! They are really good at it which helps.
Sorry for the blurry pictures. Jakob is #5 Michael is wearing red shorts, Anthony is #5.
Anthony is the rebounding machine! That kid is all over the court! I think Jake is probably the superstar. He shoots, dribbles, tries to pass and moves up and down the court like he's supposed to do. Michael is good but he is more of a perfectionist and logical thinker. He has to think things out. When he shoots the ball he likes to line his hands up like Mike taught him to do.
The kids celebrated Valentine's Day the week after Valentines Day. The rest of the school had 100 Days of School celebration the same day as the Valentines celebration but their kindergarten teacher decided to separate it and wait a week. It was great! Everything was 70% off!

100 Days hats. Annie has her Valentine's Day vest on from her preschool class.
Jakob was so funny. He took his candy and valentines and sold them! He walked up and down the street and sold them to the neighbor kids for $.10. Michael and Anthony made "potions" with their candy because their friend Adalia was over and told them that's what she did with her candy because they don't eat all those chemicals. Michael asked me after he had potionized all his candy, what candy he got to eat? Hahahahaha!
The kids quickly caught on to Jake's idea and opened up candy stores of their own, those that still had candy.
The missionaries came over one day to help me paint some shelves that we are building. By the time we were done painting the kids were stir crazy because they didn't get to help. We went outside and had a dance party!
It was so much fun! I laughed and laughed until my sides were aching. It's s funny watching each individual personality come out.
Jaileigh helping Michael do the wheelbarrow.
Sister Dirks and Sister Cultura joining in.
They HAD to do wardrobe changes. Michael put on one of Mike's shirts and the other kids slowly raided their dress up box and the hat cupboard.
Lining the kids up.
Anthony doing a handstand.
Annie's turn included bopping people with this thing.
Jake got shy at the end and wouldn't dance anymore.
Michael was not shy at all!
The neighbor kids heard the music and we soon saw their heads peeking over the fence, asking if they could come over too.
It was so much fun! We mainly danced to kids songs and a few appropriate dance songs. Every song that came on Sister Dirks would say, "Oh yeah! This is my jam!" Then we would all dissolve into fits of giggles.
