Menifee Tree Lighting

Day 4 of Daddy being gone.

That night I took the kids to the Menifee Annual Christmas Tree lighting. The city brought snow in for all the kids to play with. It was pretty warm, between 55-60 degrees, even though it looks like it was freezing. They had free tractor rides, hot cocoa, and Santa visits.

Their friend Kaylen, from school was there. She is in purple. They had a lot of fun playing with her.

Santa and Mrs. Claus

Annie was so brave. She jumped right on Santa's lap.
He asked each one what they wanted for Christmas. Annie said a pony, Anthony and Jakob want guns, Michael wants a boat, and Jaileigh wants an Ariel Barbie. He wasn't sure what to say so he said, "Well, I'll have to talk about this with your mom."

Then he talked to the kids after. He told them they needed to be really good, that they needed to set out carrots and lettuce for his reindeer and that he really liked milk and chocolate chip cookies.

They weren't happy about going home.
