Eggstremely Eggciting Day

Dear Daddy-

Today we discovered eggs.  We had so much fun. Mommy was upstairs taking care of Annie and Jaileigh. Annie had a fever and Jaileigh was being a stinker. Mommy forgot to lock the gate and the fridge! We snuck off and had soooo much fun.

Here I am doing the egg dance.

Here I am throwing another egg, hehe. Mommy was yelling but we didn't listen because she was taking pictures while she was yelling.

I picked it up after I threw it. It was pretty slimey. Michael is showing how we got the eggs out. Anthony is hiding behind the garbage can with his eggs.

Anthony caught!

We even broke some in the fridge.

Mommy moved the eggs to a different shelf today. She pouted for a little while about the whole incident. She even made us sit in our high chairs so she could clean up the eggs. She didn't appreciate us trying to "help" her. Daddy you better come before mommy goes crazy. We don't know where crazy is but she keeps telling us she's going there.

Love you and miss you!

Dear Daddy-

(Day 2)
Dear Daddy-

We miss you. We woke up this morning and climbed into bed with mommy and you weren't there. She told us you went in the airplane to work.

So far we have only broke two things. Mommy keeps telling us daddy is going to be real mad if we break things. She is going to fix them before you get home.
Karen has been here playing with us. She is so fun. Look what she let us do when it was raining.

Mommy took a picture of the rain to show you. We didn't get to play outside today and mommy said we got "cabin fever".

We played with some boxes for awhile.

We all took turns getting in the box and hiding.

Then we played our Thomas the Train game. Mommy returned some stuff yesterday and got us a new game. We love this! Jaileigh stole all of the trains though and didn't want to share.

Even Annie liked this game. She kept getting on our mat.

Annie practiced her cruising.

We dumped out some crackers, stepped on them, ate dinner, read stories, pooped a lot and then we all fell asleep. It was an eventful day.

Today we celebrated 2 birthdays. The quads turned 2 1/2 and Annie turned 8 months. I can't believe how fast time is flying by. It seems like yesterday that the quads were in the NICU. I remember it so well. I look at them I think how blessed we are. All of them are incredibly healthy and brilliant and so big! Far from those little 1 and 2 pounders.

And then there was Annie. My fluffy, cuddly bundle of JOY! I was so nervous and upset to be having a 5th baby but Heavenly Father knew I needed her. She is my joy and my solace. I love my quaddies with all my heart but they sure do gain up on me, and they are in their TERRIBLE twos! Annie calms me. When I look at her I just can't help but grin.

So, Happy Birthday my littles. I love you!

Annie and her fishy that she carries everywhere. Her first tooth  is finally coming in. I think this is why she likes the fish so much.

Karen is staying with us for the week since Daddy is away on a workation (haha).
She brought the kids new books. She really knows the way to a quads heart.

Annie was practicing standing on the diapers. Up and down, up and down.

Jaileigh wanted to play too.

Cute Michael! playing with his animals in the window. He got his allergy shots today. I bribed him with a new toy. After shots we went to Target and found these animals in the dollar bin that make noise. He was so happy.

Look at that girls thunder thighs! WOW!

We miss you daddy!

Making Annie Laugh

Entertaining Annie-this is how our best evenings are spent, making Annie laugh.

I don't know why my camera is filming in black and white. One of these days I'll figure it out.

Quad Celebration

The Vegas Quads celebrated their 2nd birthday on Sunday afternoon. We actually crashed their party and came Sunday morning so that we could head back to California before the rush house traffic. Thanks so much for having us. We had so much fun with you and hope to see you soon.

Hanging Out With Our Cousins

My whole family, the Stokes, all came to Vegas to play with us on Saturday. We had so much fun and it really made me wish we lived closer to everyone. Grandma, Grandpa, Rori and Major came first and played for a couple hours before Andy and Tia came. My brother Andy and his wife Tia have two kids. Major is two months younger than the quads and Legend is two weeks younger than Annie.

We all went to Cafe Rio. YUM. My favorite restaurant.  While we were there a guy at the neighboring table told us that he was afraid he was going to get pregnant just by being close to us. Tia and I have 7 kids age 2 and under. I can see why he was scared, HAHA.

After Cafe Rio we went to the park.

After the park we went back to our room and played. Here is Tia with the kids playing spider and sharing her bracelets. My kids love her. They kept looking for teeee-aahhhhhh.

Just a little baby communication. They weigh the same and have 1/2 an inch difference in height. So why does Annie look so much fluffier?

Tubby time. My kids loved this tub. We took a bath everyday.

Andy and Tia ended up staying with us that night. What an adventure it was! Love all the family bonding and hope to do much more.
