Trunking and Treating Again!

On Saturday we were able to attend another trunk or treat with our friends. This trunk or treat was the cadillac of trunk or treats though. It had a petting zoo, carnival like booths, pony rides, and yummy food.

This is how Jaileigh spent her time in the petting zoo- attached to Madison

Anthony petting the rabbit. He was the bravest of the quads.

Parker and Jake looking at the rabbit. I don't think he ever petted it.

Jake trying the pony ride. It didn't go over too well. He got off right after the picture.

Anthony actually rode the pony. I walked along side him and talked to him the whole time. He was scared but he did it.

Daddy trying to put Michael on the pony. No way!

On the back of this mule they put a hay bale and gave rides around the parking lot. After our ride Jake screamed and cried because he wanted more. The driver let Jake sit on his lap and "drive". Jake was so happy.

Anthony figured out how to win the ring toss- walk up and put the ring on, duh!

Fishing anyone?

The kids had a great time. After all the fun and games a couple of the kids treak or treated, but most of them just wanted to watch the animals from the petting zoo get put away. The animals were the highlight of the night. They still talk about them going "night, night".

Trunk or Treat!

We attended our church's trunk or treat last night (Fri). We were late, of course. We missed the dinner program but made it just in time for the trunk or treating. The kids were a little overwhelmed with the all the costumes but were so excited to see all their friends, especially Bill and Gina. We went as a "Zoo". We had the lion costume from our wizard of oz theme last year so I just had to find 4 more costumes. This is what they were supposed to be- Jake-monkey, Anthony-tiger, Michael-lion, Jaileigh-giraffe, Annie-elephant. From the pictures below you can see that the kids had their own agenda.

Bill and Gina brought do-do's (doughnuts) just for the kids. Here is Anthony trying to get his open. He is my sweets kid so had the time of his life eating candy after. He decided that he was going to be the monkey. All of the kids wanted to be the monkey. We should have just been the monkeys jumping on the bed : )

Michael ended up being the lion, after I tackled him and forced him to.

Jake eating his sucker. He ended up being the tiger.

Jaileigh, jaileigh, jaileigh. . . what can I say! She refused to put on any of the costumes, she refused to wear normal shoes, and I was not going to battle with her. She won tonight.

Annie didn't last. Trunk or Treat was way past her bedtime. She did wear her elephant costume. So cute!

The crazy animals- Jaileigh, Jakob, Michael, and Anthony

Dana or Danee as the kids call her, helping Jaileigh with her doughnuts.

"Hey guys, look who I get to sit next to!" Anthony yells to the rest of his siblings. He loves Gina! She is his girlfriend.

Eating the candy! I should win mother of the year award for letting my kids eat candy before bed.

Hope your Halloween activities are spooktacular!

Harvest Festival!

Halloween is almost here. Tonight we are going to our church's Trunk or Treat. I am excited, I think the kids are going to love seeing everyone dressed up. I am also nervous about the kids wearing their costumes. They love to dress up but only dress up for minutes at a time. Last night we went to our schools Harvest Festival. The kids had a ton of fun and we only did 5 of the activities.

Today is Annie's 5 month birthday and the quads 27 month birthday. Happy Birthday to all!

Jaileigh making a mask. She is pat, pat, patting her butterfly so it sticks.

Playing in the play house with Peyton or "the boy" as the quads call him. He has quad siblings that are 10 months old.

Jaileigh modeling Ms Sandra's Witch Diva hat. It fits her perfectly!

The Bat Cave was the favorite activity of the evening. It was supposed to be dark but they turned the lights on for us. The kids went in, washed their hands, and picked out a key from some bowls full of slimey balls. They carried the key with them throughout an obstacle course and at the end there was a treasure chest with prizes.

Jaileigh in the giant swing. She lost her hairbow in one of the tunnels. We found it but didn't put it back in.

If you look closely you can see Jakey trying to run back to the beginning again. They loved it and had to be carried out because they wouldn't leave.

Here are a few pictures from last weekend that I didn't post.
