"Rain, Rain Go Away"

On Saturday it was really a rainy day. It just kept raining and raining and raining. With Mike out of town the kids and I were a little tired of each other and they really needed to run off some of their pent up energy. So, I let them go outside. We waited until there was a break in the rain and then we all rain out. They loved it! We were able to play outside about 20 minutes then the thunder started up again.

I told them it was time to go inside and take a bath once the thunder started and they all took off running towards the front door. When I got there I found this. I guess they thought that puddle was a bath. If you can't see it, the planter is full of water and the boys are sitting in their own "outdoor tub".

Jaileigh wanted to get in the "tub" too until she found out it included dirt.

Precious!! Doesn't it feel great to let them be kids and get dirty sometimes. Then the reality that 4 baths follow hits! We spent a good 2 and a half hours outside today, mud puddles and all, it was SO awesome!! You are an inspiring momma, Amber! HUGS!
